When will increase in cell limits be implemented?

I attended last year's Smartsheet Engage and there was a big announcement that Smartsheet would be increasing cell maximums in sheets - from 500,000 to 5 million.

Any more word on that? When will these new cell limits be implemented? I have several big projects I'm holding off on until the increase happens.
