How to make sheet summary with multiple drop down column?

I am hoping someone might be able to guide me. I am trying to count how many of certain courses people are interested in. All options populate into the same column. Is there a way to do something like:

=COUNTIF(Which courses are you interested in?, Project Management)

Use the HAS function:

=COUNTIFS([Which courses are you interested in?]:[Which courses are you interested in?], HAS(@cell, "Project Management"))
