How to restore my Smartsheet using history log?

Hi Smartsheet Community!

I have an issue with my Smartsheet. After I created an automation workflow all my rows (initially only those rows with complete/cancelled indication should be moved to another sheet) accidently have been moved to another sheet. How can I get everything back using Smartsheet saved history log like in MS Word?

Hi,

I hope you're well and safe!

You'd request a snapshot, and then you'd get an Excel file, and then, unfortunately, you'd have to copy and paste or import the data.

Thanks for your reply! Your advice helped. Thanks a lot for that.

I hope Smartsheet will be able to implement something similar the Microsoft has in its Office package. I think the ability to switch between different versions of a Smartsheet file would be very handy for every end-user.

One more question, does Smartsheet automatically saves all the updates to the file, or user has to do it manually?
