How do I get the Windows Desktop app to go full screen?

We cannot get the Windows Desktop app to go full screen. It only apears in a window and the double arrow ikon (which I would assume is to expand the window) doesn't work?

I have the same problem with my Smartsheep desktop app. The full screen button doesn't work, the app only goes as big as the image i have attached shows.

I also have no option for presentation mode.
