Good morning, Smartsheet community,

How to get my formulas be copied with my backup of exported MS Excel file?

I have a problem with all my formulas not being copied when I create a backup file (using a Backup request feature) or when I export my smartsheet to MS Excel file.

Is there any way to include all my manually typed formulas to backup or exported file?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

As a workaround for this, I enter all my formulas (noting any cross reference sheets) as Sheet comments. Then when backup is completed of the sheet, those comments show on a separate tab in the excel sheet (that is downloaded from the backups). Not ideal, but an option.
