"Project Management Office" vs "Simple Project Portfolio" Template

Maybe it is me, but I don't see the difference between the "Project Management Office" vs "Simple Project Portfolio" Template. Can someone tell me what the differences are, looking at the different dashboards, reports and sheets it is not clear to me. Thanks!

The last icon at the end of the Template review on each page shows a higher-level overview to explain the set-up of each Template.

Here's how the "Simple Project Portfolio" is structured, with the additional Reports:

Here's the PMO template set structure:

They're similar, but both quite complex sets. I would suggest starting with the Project Management Office set, going through the Setup Information, then if this doesn't seem like it would suit your needs move to test the other set.
