Move a Dashboard to a New Workspace

Hi - I need assistance with moving an existing Dashboard to a different workspace because people outside of the original workspace need access to it.

It was filed under a few folders under workspaces and it got moved to "Sheets" general folder and now some of the connections don't work.

Is there a way to leave it where it is and change permissions, or how should we move it to a new folder without it disconnecting part of the dashboard? I've been Googling help for this but I keep finding results for moving a sheet, and not a dashboard.

Thanks - after publishing, do I have the ability to limit who has access to the dashboard? That's why it was moved initially. People outside of the workspace need access to it.

@KatieS3941 When you turn on publishing you will be presented options on who can access it. You could also just share the dashboard at the dashboard level to additional users without publishing it. Publishing does present more like a web page though, by removing the left hand side of Smartsheet that you would normally see.
