Multiple Filters in a Column

I have a column for State where work is being done in. I need to set up a separate filter for West, Central, and East Regions with their perspective states. Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this? I'm not seeing anything for any comma separators anywhere.

    If you are wanting to capture West / Central / East regions, are you capturing that information anywhere? Is that field a drop down? If you you would be able to create a filter where that field is one of, and then list the applicable states that should be contained.
