Help with Index/Match & Column Formulas
Hello,
I am trying to create an index/match function but am receiving a #NO MATCH even though I know the value is in the reference range and I am almost positive my formula is correct. The problem might be that I am referencing a range in the 'match' section that is a column formula. Does anyone know if this is the problem or have any suggestions on what might be causing the no-match?
Below is a screenshot of my tracker and function
Here is the screenshot of the tracker I am pulling from with the Project ID column being my reference range. The reason why it is a column formula is because I am pulling out the "-U" from the column to the left.
Is it possible to create an index/match formula that references another column formula? If not, does anyone have any suggestions to get around this? Thanks!!!

Can you wrap your Project ID in
VALUE()
function and see if that works. I am assuming that the Project ID are all numbers....

Yes, you can use a column formula as reference. Just change the reference to that new 'Project ID' column.
