How to add information to a cell in a report.

My report is connected to a single sheet and will not allow me to add text into empty cells from the report screen. I have to navigate to the sheet to enter text. It does however allow me to edit existing text.

You can add data to a report. However, it wont let you add data if a) the cell in the source sheet has a formula in it or b) the cell is locked
