Can I gray out options within a menu dropdown on a form when certain criteria are met?

Hi!

I would like to gray out options within a menu dropdown on my form when certain criteria are met. For example, I will have a dropdown menu dates available. When one date is chosen 4 times, that date needs to be grayed out because we have met our max for that date. Can I do this on a form?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds (that can update the dropdown option after submission)

• Smartsheet API
• Premium App, Data Shuttle

Another option is to have a Dashboard with the form on one side and the available dates on the other.

Would that work/help?

Is there a link to a video on SmartSheet API or Premium App, Data Shuffle so I can learn more about how it works?

Your third suggestion seems like it would work too. I'll have to try it. If I can show all the available dates on a calendar, I think that would work nicely.
