Error when trying to transfer Workspace Ownership
I'm a system admin and needing to transfer the ownership of a Workspace over to a Licensed User however when I go through the standard steps (Sharing And Collaboration --> Workspaces --> Transfer the ownership of a workspace) I get the error "This user cannot accept ownership at this time. Please retain your ownership or select a different user." I tried transferring it months ago and was getting this same error but forgot to retry.
Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?
Much appreciated.

Please ensure the user is already shared to the workspace as an Admin and may also need a licensed to own items.

Just to clarified, the person is a licensed user, and shared with the workspace. As mentioned in my post, I have followed the steps called out in the link you provided and it hasn't resolved the issue.
Thanks for trying.

From another post on this subject - ensure the user is a licensed user on your plan and depending on your plan, has not reached the maximum number of sheets they are allowed to own.
If the user has a license then I would suggest reaching out to Support on this. If you provide Support with screen captures of the error message you're seeing and the user's email address that you're trying to transfer to, they'll be able to look into this for you. I would also recommend identifying if you're on the same plan as this other user.
