Is there a way to keep the generated PDF document fillable?

I started off with a pdf that is fillable when I mapped out responses from the smartsheet form onto the fillable pdf, the fields are no longer fillable once the PDF gets generated. See attached examples of a pre-generated fillable pdf vs post auto-generated non fillable pdf.
