Good afternoon Smartsheet Team.

I have had several members of my team lose data that has been added to their Smartsheet because the auto save function does not to always execute the save in a timely fashion. Is there a way to ensure auto save functions like google doc or SharePoint?

    Have you tried -

    Auto-save settings

    • Auto-save after 1 minute of inactivity: Select this option to have Smartsheet automatically save any edits every [x] minutes of inactivity. Click 1 minute to edit the save frequency to 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes.
    • Auto-save my changes when I leave a sheet or report: Select this option to have Smartsheet automatically save any edits when you close a sheet or report's tab, switch to another tab, or log out of Smartsheet.

    Here's some excellent news.

    In the near future, you'll be able to forget about hitting the save button thanks to auto-save. Plus, with functionality that lays the groundwork for real-time collaboration, you'll be able to work in a sheet simultaneously with your colleagues and stay effortlessly synced with the latest, most up-to-date version of your work.
