Donut View - Legend loses it color if value drops to zero
Hi Team,
Can you please confirm why is a Donut graph now able to retain the Legends which it is mapped to unlike a Bar chart.
Problem occurs when one of the legend values drops to Zero and later if there is a value, the legend does not retain the color it was originally assigned to. Let me know if you need more details.

Hey @Gaurav Chauhan
When was this chart created? What you're describing is an older experience where when values dropped to 0 they were no longer recognized, so when the value came back it would be randomly assigned a new colour.
However any newly created charts after May 2023 should retain their colours when the value comes back, as long as the legend name is the same.
Here's more information:
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thank you for sharing the article. This would certainly help. I would go ahead and test it.
Also, Pie and Donut view is not available to create in the first place when there are no values unlike other view.
Will check the legend color preserving functionality.

Yes that's correct, if there are 0 values the Pie and Donut chart are unable to be selected as they can't show anything at all (whereas the bar charts can show 0 on the X axis).
