Dropdown Date Automation

Hi

I am trying to automate a date being added when a dropdown value is changed, each value would have its own column for dates, I also want to be able to backdate this as I can see where previous columns have been changed, For example if a column changes from Dead to In Discussion to Live, I want all those dates noted down automatically when the values were changed.

You can use the Record a date action in a workflow and then record it in separate columns.

What happens if the dropdown is changed twice? So it goes from Dead to live back to dead what date does it prioritise?

Also would you be able to set up a formula using the following fields as I can work it out by myself

Site Status (Dashboard) - this contains the dropdowns for dead, in discussion, HOT's Signed, HOT's Being negotiated, Exchanged, Completed, Live.

I also have a column for all of these different dropdowns as well, I'm trying to keep everything in one sheet if possible, see columns below.

This last image is exactly how you could do this!

Ensure each of those Status columns are set as Date type of columns. Then you can set up a workflow to record a date in the correct column based on what the status was set to:
