Formula can't be deploy on the column

I created the formula ''=NETWORKDAYS(([Request date]1), ([Completion date]1)'' in order to calculate the number of days between the request and the completion.

When I right click on the box to deploy on the entire column, the option is not applicable.

Your formula contains multiple errors. The main one is that you can't reference a specific row when you want to convert it to a column formula.

Try something like this.

=IFERROR(NETWORKDAYS([Request Date]@row, [Completion Date]@row), "")

• Which column and column type are you trying to add it to?
• Are you right-clicking on the cell with the formula?

It can't be a date column. It has to be a general text/number column.

Try that. Did it work?

How is it possible to use a formula to calculate time between start and end date please ? (in days)

The formula will do that, but it will not work in a date column. You can't place it in a date column.
