Colouring a Header based on information within
Hi,
I am designing a task tracker, this task tracker covers all ongoing tasks for projects under development.
To keep things tidy, i have each project as a header, and each task for that project within,
I have conditional formatting that will colour each row based on their status, e.g UAT.
Is there a way, that i can apply the conditional formatting to color the header if a task is in e.g UAT status.
I'm open to this either auto ticking a tick box to say "UAT" or it maybe entering dates that will apply to the header also that i can apply formatting to?

I am pretty sure you can achieve what you want with conditional formatting but would need to know more before being able to say exactly what you need to do.
Are your tasks indented below the project headers?
What is the logic you want? The color of the task with the current due date to be applied to the heading? Or the task with a certain status?
Maybe share a screen shot of the sheet, with sensitive information hidden.
