How are you managing keeping track of training status of the users in your plan?

I have seen some training templates but that would still require reliance on the user informing the admin of their training completion in Smartsheet University. Are there other alternatives?

This one is a great thought process all together.

Could you try some of the easiest options which i listed below:

Ø Create a dedicated Smartsheet to track user training progress. List courses offered through Smartsheet University or other sources. Include columns for usernames, course names, completion status with adding checkbox or dropdown menu, and completion date if needed. Users can self-report completion by checking the box or entering the date.

 

Ø Build a system with formulas and automation. The sheet could track courses, users, and completion status. When a user completes a course in Smartsheet University, an integration or automation could update the training status sheet automatically. This eliminates manual user input.
