I know standard deviation is calculated between 0 to infinity, however, I'm wondering if anybody has a method for inverting the standard deviation to negative if the deviation goes from bigger number to smaller number. In this case, 4/17/24 deviation would be -707%, as compared to 707%
I am using STDEVS(COLLECT() based on the MAX(WEEKNUMBER) and MAX(WEEKNUMBER) -1 for the deviation criteria of current week vs previous week.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Disregard. I found the solution by multiplying the output of STDEVS function with an IF(MIN(COLLECT()) to determine whether 1,-1.
