How to show running total on graph beside monthly totals

I have a sheet where a property manager enters each time they get a lease and that sheet has monthly goals at the top for each month. That sheet has "helper" columns that allow me to have a summary sheet to show total leases and the monthly goal for each month. Then I graph it, that all works well. See below.

I'd like to add a running total to the graph on the left side of April that shows the total, to date of leases vs the total to date of the goals. What is the best way to do that?

Hi @Andrea Westrich ,

You could create a sheet summary value on your sheet that sums the column of the total leases and another value that sums the column of the goals. Then you can add metric widgets on your dashboard that look at the sheet summary values.

I'm not sure I understand your answer. I'd like the running total to be on the same graph to show progress. The people that will use this won't look at more than one item and may even just get a screenshot, so the goal is a single graph to show the current totals and each month. Do you think that is possible?

You could also add in a total row to your sheet if you want it separate but on the same chart.
