Updating Child Row Numbering When Moving Rows

Hi There!

I'm working on a project for scheduling. I have 4 session blocks and under each session block is a set of child sessions. I'd like to be able to move around the child sessions from one session block to another but maintain a child row numbering order.

So for instance, under Block 1, there are 4 child rows A-D. The numbering is 1-A, 1-B, etc.

Is there a formula if I move a child row from Block 3 to the first child row under Block 1, it would keep the child row number of 1-A?

Or if I moved that same child row from Block 3 to the SECOND child row under Block 1, would it keep the child row number of 1-B?

Will you only ever have a single layer of indentation? Are you able to provide some screenshots for context?
