Restrict Row Cells to Assigned Person

I have a sheet that assign task to different people with checkboxes in columns for them to mark when done. Is there a way to restrict the checkbox access to only the person assigned on that row?

If all users have/need access to the same sheet - no. You would need the premium add on Dynamic View. https://www.smartsheet.com/marketplace/premium-apps/dynamic-view

Other option - Let them know that View History on the cell shows who ticked the box… .
