Is there a way to copy notes into the Comment for each row?

I imported data from a spreadsheet and it had a Notes column with running status updates for each row. I'd like to have them start using comments and thus want to bring in the data from the Notes column into a comment, so they can continue to see the history in a logical way.

I don't see a way to automate the copying of data from Notes cell into the comment for each row. I am not dying to do it manually - ugh.
