Dear SS Fans,

For many years I've been using a MS plugin called GTDOA. Β The joy of this PI is that at the point of sending an email I create an MS task, link theΒ email to theΒ task, tag to aΒ category, set a due date, reminder date et al and then when IΒ press send an MS task is created and IΒ can forget about what needs to be done until MS reminds meΒ to follow up. Β Then when I then need to follow up theΒ email, Β IΒ open theΒ task in Outlook, click a button and the email is there ready to be forward or actioned as necessary.

GTDOA is simple and effective and IΒ use it all day...probably on sending 80% of emails.

The problem IΒ now face is that GTDOA was dropped last year and has beenΒ unsupported for some time and I need to find an alternative now before it falls over.

I'm all over SS and I have the SS Plugin which works great. Β However theΒ shortcoming of SS as I see it. is that at theΒ time of sending an email IΒ cannot add the emailΒ to a personal SS to-do list. Β Unless you tell me otherwise I need to send theΒ email and then go to my sent items and then attach that email to a SS via the SS plugin..this flow just feels clunky and time consuming..and i might as well create an MS task in this case.

Are there any heavy users of personal to-do lists (ie not team project based stuff) that create tasks from Outlook, and if so...can you share your flow please?

Thanks,
