Cross Sheet Formula - SUMIFS
Hi there! I have built a summary sheet summing revenue that is captured from another large sheet of data, including criterion such as Product Type between 2023 year date range, however, it's unparseable and I believe it's due to a paranthesis or something tiny I'm overlooking as the reason why it's not working. I. hope so anyway. Here is the formula. Can anyone see anything that could be tripping this function up?
=COUNTIFS [DMS - Material Request Sheet (Shows) Product],[Show Spotlight],{DMS - Material Request Sheet (Shows) Range 2},{040123-123123})

Hey @Brian R.
The syntax of the above formula isn't what smartsheet is expecting. I'll take a guess at correcting it. I am assuming your square brackets are the criteria, at row, that you wanted to look for in the cross sheet references. And are you trying to Count the number of occurrences (COUNTIFS) or SUM a column based on criteria (SUMIFS)?
=COUNTIFS({DMS - Material Request Sheet (Shows) Range 2},[DMS - Material Request Sheet (Shows) Product]@row, {040123-123123},[Show Spotlight]@row)
The syntax is now correct for a COUNTIFS formula. Without any screenshots I cannot tell if the target sheet columns refer to the correct cross sheet ranges, or whether the cross sheet ranges correctly refer to the relevant source sheet data set.
