Reports showing wrong criteria
Hi
I have been using reports for a while now and everything has been working fine however lately they have been including results that do not meet the criteria I have specified.
For example I have a report that's criteria is Column 1 is Yes and Column 2 in not checked that they will appear on the report. However lately the report is showing some results that are wrong. It is showing some that have column 1 as Yes and column 2 is checked.
I have tried writing a brand new report but the same issue is happening. Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a fix?
Thanks,
Emma

Hi Emma,
Can you share a screenshot of your report builder settings? Usually, when you start getting unwanted results, it's because the report builder settings are set to OR instead of AND. Look there first and see if that is the cause. Sharing a screenshot will help us help you.

Hi
I've attached a screenshot for you to look at. My criteria is set as AND. The report has been working and only shows some items that are Yes and Checked. So I'm not sure what is wrong with these particular rows.
Thanks,
Emma

I am having the same issue. I have only noticed today. I updated the source data, and then went into the report to check everything was working smoothly but it hasnt updated
I am a regular user and this is causing our business serious issues, can someone look into this.
The attached shows that the criteria has been updated to just one person but the other person is still showing in the results

Emma and Scott,
I would recommend sending this directly to support. It is clear that the report builder is not working as intended. That is bizarre. https://help.smartsheet.com/contact

Scott, I managed to get mine fixed. I changed the data in one cell of each row that was not meant to be on the report, saved, refreshed the report, and then changed the data back to what it was. Once refreshing the report again the wrong results were not showing anymore.
Don't know how feasible a fix this is for you, I only had a few rows to change so it didn't take that long. I would advise sending yourself a copy of the report before changing anything so that you can easily identify any rows that may disappear from the report and you can change the data back to what it was.
For example, I unchecked the box in columns that were checked and then unchecked them again and the report was showing me the correct rows again.

Thanks Mike, I forwarded the problem onto Support.
Thanks support this issue has now been resolved for me. Can you let me know when this was identified? Was it through questions coming through? I am concerned because i picked it up but others may not have done which would obviously lead to larger problems.
