Explain Reasoning Behind Denial

We are working on an approval workflow. The business has requested that in the message alert that follows a denial, that we include any comments from the approver, thus allowing them to explain the denial.
The problem is that if I choose to include comments (rather than message only) it adds a link to the sheet (which most do not have access to) and a lot of other unneeded information. In searching it does not look like it is possible⦠but I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to do one of the following:
- include a message only with the comments from the denier
- move comments into a cell so that it can be referenced in a message only
- alert a user as the reason behind a denial without including links to the sheet and other details (similar to a message only)

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellentΒ idea!
PleaseΒ submit this asΒ a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- You can use the Latest Comment Column and combine it to include it in the message using placeholders.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

Yes, that could be used to meet the second option I had listed:
- move comments into a cell so that it can be referenced in a message only
I was not aware that column type existed.
Thanks!
