Having trouble sharing a sheet from an email notification

Hello,

I receive an email when someone requests access to a sheet (since I am the owner) but when I click on "Share Sheet" within the email request, I am getting this error:

I can go directly to the sheet and share with anyone just fine but I just can't do it from an email. Any ideas on why that doesn't work? Thanks for your help.

    Hi all,
    Jumping in here to verify that based on other member reports to the Smartsheet Support team, the intermittent "fail" issue some users were experiencing during the email "Share Sheet" action has been escalated and is actively being worked on. A fix for this should be implemented within the next few weeks.

    If you experience issues like this in the future, please do continue to report it to Support with screen captures, sheet links, and as much detail as possible.
