Input to Form on Sheet A --> Automation in Sheet A to update Row in Sheet B

Here is what I would like to do…

Input to (Form on Sheet A) of vehicle number (ex: F01970) triggers (automation from Sheet A) to (send Update Request for row in Sheet B) that has all the fields for that vehicle (F01970).

This would allow me to track which vehicles are changed (and when they were changed) in Sheet A, while keeping Sheet B clean for the data related to each vehicle and therefore also useful for other INDEX/MATCH stuff.

Suggestions appreciated, thanks everyone! 🙂

To trigger an update request from Sheet B, you would have to change something in Sheet A using cross-sheet formulas or cell-linking.

Make sense?
