Checking Dates
How do I write a formula that would look at a date field that is formatting dd/mm/yy and count if both the current month and the current year match. Then I would also want to do a count for the prior month, so if the month and year of that date matched those of last month, and we also have to account for the fact that Dec (12 ) comes before Jan (1). These are continually stumping me.

Just to be sure. Your speaking from a Fiscal year standpoint. You would have to create a reference sheet that to set the months of your fiscal year. then you could use a combination of Countif and Index Collect to achieve everything you need.
