Does Smartsheet have a function to FORECAST?

I am looking to forecast a data set over a 7-year period in order to establish whether or not the organization is on-track to meet its targets.

Is there a formula / function out there that can be used?

There isn't a linear regression type function in Smartsheet currently. It's a great idea that you should submit to the Product Feedback. You'd need to calculate the line yourself by building some formulas and data to do that.
