How to split task time if you have a on hold time in the middle of it?

I have a task that will have to be on hold for a month and then restart? I know MS Project has this break in the middle and you can break the progress bar into 2 sections. Is there a way to do it here in SS?

You can create a task called 'on-hold' and add lag time, making the actual task the dependent and hence it will begin when that finishes.

Or you can add lag time to an already existing predecessor (e.g. FS+12D).
