Formating in Smartsheet

Cell merge function

I have seen that this function is still not in place. Can anyone tell me when this function will be implemented? Or is there a way, where I can use a text in one my Project templates with an instruction text to guide someone through within my template, for example my due diligence questionnaire (DDQ), where I have to add some important Information. I do not want to place it in comments I want that on top of the template basically in the first line.

Showing the high level info on a Project at the top of the sheet is a very popular need.

If this is done in hierarchy form then it can hold several rows of detail then be zipped closed when not needed. The added benefit of this is the dashboard within the sheet, can be totaling KPIs of what is going on below, then sending them to Sights or a Portfolio sheet by Cell linking.

If you haven't tried that then give it a go, I can show you numerous examples of this working if you need it?

Thank you for your fast reply, highly appreciated. No due to tight deadlines and lot of work right now, I am not able to play around the tool. Yes, it would much a great help, if you could Show me examples how I could solve this instruction for Clients in order to guide them through the file they have to complete.
