I have the correct account, why is the latest comment option in the default column drop down menu?

As well as being on the correct plan, you also need to be admin or owner of the sheet. Could that be the problem?

Thanks yes i am the owner and have both enterprise and business accounts and it is not accessible on either

Has the column already been added to the sheet? Only one instance of these 'system - type' columns can be added to a sheet. The column type will be ghosted out once it is used.
