I have 6 different training topics which the column type is in dates only. the training expires after 3 years. (every row has different dates)I'm looking to format the the cells to:

  • red when it passes the 3 years
  • yellow when there is 6 months remaining for the training
  • green for it being in date is the last 915 days

but due to the dates being different the conditional formatting is not working

hope this makes sense

appreciate any help

I would create support columns to help me do the calculations, then I will apply the conditional formation to the helper columns to highlight the specific dates.

  • i have done this but the colours are not showing correct,

the conditional formatting is not correct the training expires after 3 years.

i want it to remain green until the last six months.

when its in the 6 months stage of it expiring i want it to highlight yellow.

when its in the last 30 days i want it to be red and finally when the helper columns date is in the past i want it to be bold and blue

    appreciate any support
