    So as a trial user in a facilities management role, I can't really try out a facilities management template in Smartsheets before committing my department to a subscription?

    You can get a 30 day free license trial on a Business plan that lets you use the templates and play with all the functionality.

    If your company already has an account you get a 30 day free license on that account. Again, your license will let you use the templates and the other functionality.
