I want to sort my calendar report by sheet name and then start date.

I have a massive calendar that shows all kinds of information for executive oversight. It includes all projects, daily assignments, employee leave, and other items. I want to sort it by sheet name and then start date, however, when I try to any kind of sort, the calendar doesn't really change how it appears. Am I missing something?

Are you talking about Calendar View in a report? Or the Calendar App?

If Calendar View - the sort order reflects the sort order on the Grid/Gantt View. You can also use Conditional Formatting to change the bar colors to make it easier to read.

If Calendar App, there's two levels of grouping you can apply on the first settings page. That will group up your items into colorized sections. This might be a good place to leverage the Sheet Name.

Then on the second settings page there's 2 Sort Columns, which you can use to sort within the groupings. If you set Start Date as one of those Sort columns, then you'll have the sort order that you're looking for.
