Filtering based on column with multiple contacts
Hi Community,
I'm hoping someone on here may have a quick and easy answer for me.
I have a report that I'm trying to filter based on a column that contains contacts, with the parent rows of the original sheet having a formula to join all the distinct contacts from the descendant rows.
My issue arises with the filter in the report (column containing current user) doesn't include the parent rows that do contain the current user's name. Is this because the formula to join the information in the descendant cells has converted to text instead of contact?
More than happy to provide more information, however the sheet contains sensitive data so I can't send screenshots.

You are correct in that the formula is converting it into a text string which cannot be used in "Current User" filters.
You can use one of the methods outlined in the below post to get multiple usable contacts in a cell based on a formula:
