Closing dynamic view side panel on save

Is there an option to close the dynamic view side panel after the user has clicked Save? If not, is there a way to display a confirmation message after clicking Save?

There is currently no built-in option to automatically close the side panel. To display a confirmation message, you can utilize the Smartsheet API and JavaScript to create a custom solution.

There currently isn't a way to have the side panel auto-closed in Dynamic View if someone clicks "Save".
Please feel free to create an Idea to let the Product Team know of your suggestion. 🙂

The discussion here is going into developing a solution using the API, or the Application Programming Interface. This would require a developer to use Smartsheet's documentation + some code to create something custom. I have not personally seen this done, so I would be interested in if a member has done this before!
