Is there a way I can make the metric widget pull in data from the latest date on a column?

I'm using a metric widget to collect status from sheet summaries by pulling it from the first column of the sheet by using the index formula. Is there a way I can expand the formula so that it's not just pulling from the first sheet, but from the latest date that's on the Week column?

I'm trying to see if there's a way I can minimize user error.

You can use the Max formula to pull from the week column to give you the latest date.

can you give me an example of how I can use that?

to add: e.g., to pull Achievement from the latest week, I used

    =IF([Week]@row = MAX([Week]:[Week]), [Achievements]@row, ""), but it says unparseable
