Can I set up an update or approval request using only cells that contain data?

I currently have a sheet that captures many fields of data, but not all of the fields are filled out every time and the same ones are not always consistently filled out. Is there a way to send an update and/or approval request where it includes only fields that contain data? Currently, the email received and approval/request portal look quite clunky with all of the blank data fields.

Currently, Smartsheet provides the following options to customize your alerts and requests:

1. Links to sheet and all fields: Includes all fields in the sheet.
2. Links to sheet and specific fields: Allows you to select only the fields you want to display.
3. Message only: Adds only a message to the alert.

Unfortunately, there isn't a feature to automatically exclude blank fields from alerts or requests at this time. If this functionality would be helpful, I recommend submitting a feature request to the Product team. You can do this by creating an Idea post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback section here.
