SUMIFS Formula/Cross-Sheet Reference
Hi,
I'm trying to calculate weekly hours worked per consultant in sheet that references our master project tracker sheet (each consultant has multiple projects, one per row). In the master tracker, one column has the names of the consultants (titled Consultant), one column has the project status (titled Engagement Status), and one has the number of hours worked per week (titled Hours Per Week). Engagement Status has a dropdown that includes "In Progress".
I have a row for each consultant in the reference sheet and need a formula that looks for the consultant name (let's say John Doe), "In Progress", and the total number of hours worked for that week.
Here's a formula I've tried that doesn't work:
=SUMIFS({Consultant}, "John Doe", {Engagement Status}, "In Progress", {Hours Per Week})
Any help appreciated - thanks!

Hi @wispsofsmoke
I think you just need to reorder your formula?
=SUMIFS({Hours Per Week},{Consultant}, "John Doe", {Engagement Status}, "In Progress")
