Date pulled via VLOOKUP from another sheet not recognized as date?
I have a column that is of date type. In that column, I'm pulling a date into a cell from another sheet using VLOOKUP. So, the cell displays a date, but the cell content is a formula. I'd like to use that displayed date in another cell inside a formula, but I get an #INVALID OPERATION error. It appears that Smartsheet can only see the formula, not the displayed value. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance.

Hello, RSM,
Can you provide some additional context? What is the formula you are using? Are both columns of Date type? -
Hi! Actually, a moment ago it occurred to me to check whether the column in the other sheet was also of date type. It wasn't; when corrected, it works now. Thank you!
