Grid/Gantt Formatting

Hello,
I have formatted a few rows (blue highlighted) in a Grid. The row formatting continues in some of the Gantt/Calendar rows, but not in all. I like to remove it from the Gantt/Calendar area. See snapshot below.

As shown in the image, do not use the "entire row" option, but select the specific columns you want to apply the format. (All columns, in this case.)

Hi, jmyzk_cloudsmart_jp,

My Grid/Gantt has nothing to do with Conditional Formatting, like your image.

What I did now is, I removed the blue highlight from the whole row, then choose the columns to be highlighted in Blue. However, now the row continuation in the Gantt section is 'blank'.

Any suggestions?

When the dependencies are not enabled in the project setting, you can set the conditional formatting on the parent row Gannt bar.

The parent row Gantt bar gets the default formatting if the dependencies are enabled, as shown in the image below.

You can still set the conditional formatting for the non-parent row Gantt bar.

However, all I like to do is just to highlight in blue the parent rows without affecting the Gantt.

And BTW the dependencies are not enabled. I don't wish to use conditional formatting.

If you are not using conditional formatting, you can manually select the area and apply the format, as shown in the image below.

Yes, and when I do that, the whole row, including in the Gantt section is affected by the formatted highlight.
