Mandatory field in Smartsheet

Hi, I have a Change Request Smartsheet, and I need to have the 'estimation completion date' collum as a mandatory to be filled by the requester. How can I implement this?

I recommend building a form from the sheet and sharing it. From the sheet you can have your questions be 'Required', making them mandatory.

Another option could be an Update Request, which would retrigger if the field still needs to be populated.
