Having difficulty with an intake form to get the values in a report to pull into my dashboard
I have a intake form for work that goes into the studio. There is a field with a multi select for the type. Based on the type conditional logic is then applied and shows a multi select drop down. For example if "print" is selected then a muti select dropdown will appear for the various "print assets" that are required.
3rd prize I am trying to see how many assets by type are requested. I am now using the summary sheet - but feel that there must be a better method.
2nd prize is to see how many assets by type and then the type of asset was requested.
1st prize is there a way to have the dashboard pulling data on a date range. So for example we only want to view data for a quarterly period - rather than everything from inception.
Happy to connect with someone to help me solve this, been at it and trying multiple things - but not winning.

Summary sheet is the best place to gather key metrics. You can also build a report, group and sum the total if you want to view it that way. Another way would be building a metrics sheet to capture the assets by type.
In a report you can get display the column assets by type and asset request. You can also group them to make it easier to spot.
In your sheet you can have a system column created date, it will auto populate date when a new request is added. Then create a helper column to pull the date, formula you want to use is =Month([Created Date]@row), to provide you the month. In a report you can apply filters to separate by months.

Are you able to provide some screenshots for context? All of these things should be possible in some way, but the exact way is going to depend on a few variables in structure.

Hi @Paul Newcome see screenshots below. I am sure there is an easier way then using sheet summary.

@Paul Newcome - just checking in if you have a solution for me here? Really want to get some of the underlying data to surface in a report so we can measure the assets and volume of them that we are creating.
