Capturing geographic data?

I'm not currently seeing that geographic address data is a Column Type option. Any plans to capture this data type to simplify mapping in dashboards?

Are you able to provide more details such as examples of the type of data you are wanting to capture and how you would want to leverage data?

We provide grants to local health departments and partner agencies, funded by federal grants that we receive. For each project, we may have 6-8 (on average) grantees that we fund and it would be great to be able to quickly aggregate the geographic locations of the grantees in a dashboard or, better yet, a map visualization for reporting to our funder.

Are you collecting data such as street address, or are you collecting data more like latitude and longitude?

Street address, or maybe just at city/county + state level. Have not finalized yet.

But definitely not lat, long.

You would use text/number type columns for this.

I tried to post this comment as a potential feature request, but wasn't allowed to select that option for some reason.

I understand geotagging is not a current feature/data type and would need use just a standard text field to capture that info.
