Equals ?
What is the formula for equals? For instance, how do I get the value in the Start column for Task 3 to also populate in the Start column for Action A ? In Excel I think it would just be an equal symbol and cell position like =C3

It would be =[Start]3

This not working. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks @Corey W.

You cannot use formulas in columns that are driven by dependencies. You would need to set up your predecessor(s) to get the dates to line up the way you want.

What you have looks correct. Try typing the equal sign then clicking the cell maybe?

@Corey W. Formulas do not work in columns driven by the dependency settings. When you try to type a formula into one of those columns, you get exactly what is shown in @ejacksonBPT's last screenshot.

@Paul Newcome Yes I had already started the comment before I saw your message and had not noticed the dependency.
