Workflow Timing Unavailable - Change a Cell

I'm trying to run a timed workflow because the "PHASE 3 CELL" I'm referencing is linked to another sheet, and I know you can't run triggered automation referencing a linked cell. Any help on why I can't run this as a timed workflow? I was reading this was the workaround solution but I must be missing something.

@NicoLHC my trigger is if anything changes in the sheet to run the workflow, even if I add something specific it doesn't work:

@NicoLHC the cell it's referencing, "PHASE 3 HELP", is a cell that's linked to another sheet.

It's not possible to run triggered automation on a cell that's linked. If I set it to triggered it just never runs even though the cell's value changes to what should trigger it.

@emprescott I see two potential options to solve this:

1. Helper Column Approach: You can create a helper column in the sheet you're working in. This column would mirror the value of the linked cell using a formula, which would allow the automation to trigger from within the same sheet.
2. Source Sheet Trigger: Another approach is to set up the automation directly from the source sheet, triggering the workflow based on changes happening in the original sheet.
